Public transport

By train :
There is the famous TGV Brussels-Paris-Lyon: www.tgv-europe.com
For prices and timetables you can also take a look at the site of the French railway company SNCF: www.sncf.fr
By plane :
The best way is to fly to Lyon (airport St. Exupery) and from there take the RhoneExpress tram (every 20 min) to Lyon centre (railwaystation called Lyon Part Dieu). The tram stops are underneath the airport – Gares/Aéroport’ (Train stations/Airport).

Other nearby airports are Grenoble, Marseille, and Montpellier.   Also, Paris  has a big international airport named Charles de Gaulle (CDG). You can get flight tickets to CDG and from there you can directly hop on the TGV high speed train that takes you to Lyon and the shuttle bus to Swing Summit.

We recommend you to check for low-budget airlines from your nearest airport to any of these French destinations.  Once you’re in France, it is easy to continue by train to get to Lyon.

In our experience, once you receive your registration confirmation, booking a flight / train immediately will save you a good deal of money.

By car (directions)

– Drive through Lyon – once you are south of Lyon (direction Marseille), you will have to take the exit to Tain l’Hermitage/Tournon.
– In Tournon, follow the direction “Lamastre”.
– Once you arrived in Lamastre, follow the signs for “Le Cheylard” until you reach a little village called Nonières.
– Here, you go to the D241 direction St. Julien Labrousse/Chalencon.
– After 2 km you will arrive at a big white cross (see picture above). Next to it, you see the small road to Les Costes.
– Drive down that small road, and you’re there!
The coordinates for your navigation system: +44.91963°, +4.48266°
NOTE: there is another town named Les Nonières close to Grenoble, so mind the postal code 07160!

Last but not least: we are happy to help you organise car-sharing – please consider offering any empty seats!

You can also hire a taxi or a rental car at the airport – post in the SwingSummit Facebook event if you want to find others to share the ride with.

This is where you’ll stay… you can even see the pool : )
